Reverse osmosis (RO) is a pressure-driven membrane separation technique by selecting the function of a permeable (semi-permeable) membrane. When the pressure added to the system is greater than the osmotic pressure into the aqueous solution, the water molecules continue to pass through the membrane, flow into the central pipe through the water channel, and then the impurities in the water flowing out of the end, such as ions, organic matter, bacteria and viruses, are trapped in the inlet side of the membrane, and then flow out at the concentrated water outlet, so as to achieve the purpose of separation and purification.

Maintance

1. During operation, avoid using excessive water pressure or flow rate to prevent damage to the membrane element.
2. When the reverse osmosis membrane is not in use for a long time, remove the membrane element, rinse it with clean water, and then disinfect it with a 30% ethanol solution. Store it in a temperature-appropriate, dry, and well-ventilated environment.
3. When replacing the reverse osmosis membrane, use the same model of reverse osmosis membrane as the original to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
